Leslie Platt is a member of Tyka’s Management Committee. She counsels and represents U.S., London, and European insurers in complex coverage, strategic, and monitoring matters arising under an array of coverages, including cyber, media, technology, intellectual property, professional liability, and lawyers’ professional liability.

She has extensive, decades-long experience advising insurers, and liaising with broker stakeholders and insureds, to facilitate resolution of coverage and measurement issues for novel and complex first- and third-party cyber losses and claims, including cyber extortion matters, nuanced business interruption loss measurement, data loss, reputation loss, eCrime, novel incident response, class- and mass- litigation arising from data breaches, data security, and other consumer privacy-related allegations and regulatory inquiries.

Leslie serves as monitoring counsel on claims under lawyers’ professional liability, miscellaneous professional, technology, and other coverages. She represents insurers in mediating large, complex claims and advises on underwriting issues for cyber and professional liability policies.
